It is arguably the most popular residential precinct in town. And it’s easy to see why.
It’s virtually a suburb of its own. What with retail fashion for hims and hers, plenty of restaurants, coffee lounges, supermarkets, a post office, banks, newsagent, dry cleaner, chemist, bookshop, a council library, a couple of pubs and a longstanding health and beauty salon. Travel agents and a place to develop or digitise photos.
There are even 2 bus services to the City (one which is a free shuttle that passes The Adelaide Oval on a ring route around North Adelaide).
Sell the car. Or utilise plentiful permit parking.
And then at home you have your own garden to grow the odd herb or two plus veggies to throw in the pot in your kitchen (with its glass roof and observatory rear window). Dining room, family area and old style sitting room are downstairs with a mix of gas and open fireplaces.
Upstairs there’s a sky studio or third bedroom that “glass walls it” to the southern side of town, with two more bedrooms on that level. All three have reverse cycle ducted air conditioning
